Personality
Kinsly can be rather blunt and is not scared to tell you like it is. She will openly give your her opinion whether you like it or not. Even if she tries not to her face will give away how she feels on the matter. She is a bit sarcastic and cynical but she has hardly had a good life so it has made her this way. Though she likes to think she has some good wit. Whether that's true or not is up to who she uses it one.
She is intelligent and works hard she wants to learn more and always grow as a person. She does not want to be seen as some dumb kid from the streets. She enjoys reading new things and books and soaking up the knowledge. She loves to share what she learns with others. If it is something she is passionate about she can go on and on about if for hours. If you hand her a book she will read it even if it is something she is not interested in. She still want to know and learn. She makes for a great student.
She is not a wolf you want to piss off she does have a short fuse and is not afraid to bite a vampire. She does not care the consequences she is not one to back down or take shit from anyone. Kallie os ones of few who can calm her down and talk her down from doing something rash. But then again they have made their own rash actions together on more than a few occasions. Kinsly is not easily scared now she knows her true potential so intimidating her will just piss her off even more. You ahve been forewarned.

Kinsly had a bit of a hard childhood growing up. She did not know her real family they either died or did not want her so Frank took her in a guy who knew her mother. though he would never talk to her about it. Her new family was not exactly wealthy which made things hard as a young child. She learned to earn money on the street in some not so legal ways pick pocketing and such. She still went to school with other kids and strived to do well. But she was forced to miss school on occasion in elementary school to take care of mom. It was a struggle for the young girl but she learned how to grow up fast. She took responsibility at home and did her best to make sure all her homework got done as well. Even though her father said it was a waste of time she would drop out more then likely. The brunette did not listen to him and did her best to find a balance.
Her new mother was a drunk not that she knew it but she did her best to take care of her and clean her up in the mornings before school. She honestly looked forward to the day she was old enough to get a job so she could spend more time away from home. It was a sad thought but caring for one's parents took a toll on a child. Middle School was not proving to be easy at least the social aspect was not.
She tried to make some friends at school but it was clear she was an outsider to most because of her dingy clothes and poor attempt at bag lunches. It was clear her social class was an issue at times. But she tried not to let it bother her how the other kids looked at her. But she made ure she got pay back here and there. Snagging some lunch money here and cute hair band there. She was getting good at being stealthy and kept some for herself while giving the rest to her father. Soon on the side she had saved up enough for a new backpack and an outfit but instead of spending it she kept saving it. the girl wanted to save up for something big. A gift for herself. She stored it in an old coffee can under her bed not the safest but it was not like her parents were going to take it.
She was going to start of highschool right not with clothes from good-will not for this first day of school. She decided to use some of the moment to get herself a new outfit and such and use the rest on a bike so there would be no more walking. She took the can with her to the store walking the whole way there. She was filled with excitement in picking out clothes ones that were brand new it was fun being a total girl for once. She spent hours in the store picking out a pair of new boots and leggings with a skirt and top. She found the perfect bike and it was not to expensive she could continue to save up for a junk car and a nice phone for once someday at this rate. After all she could get a job now.
She was so happy checking out she pulled out her can opening it out seeing only a handful of cash and a note. It stated I owe you honey love Mags. She only had enough for either the top and skirt or the boots by themselves. She decided to get the boots so the visit was not a total loss. She sat outside the store on a bench pouting staring at the note. She felt such anger and hatred for her mother right now she knew going home like this would be bad. So she put on her new boots admiring her feet putting herself in a better mood before heading home.
It was dark when she headed home but she never minded it might give her a chance to knick a few wallets. What she had not planned for was being attacked herself when she cut through the woods after stealing a guy's wallet. It was better to stay out of sight as your sifted through their things. She tossed the wallet aside taking what she wanted she had no clue what was going on till he was on top of her. The man was so much stronger than her his eyes were as black as night. There was something wrong with this man he mad her skin crawl. Little did she knew she was dealing with a demon. He seemed pleased to have stumbled upon a magical being. She had no clue what he was talking about as he moved to mark he with his blade cutting into her shoulder. Then came a crack of a gun and a hiss and then in a blink of the eyes the man was gone.
She was in great pain but the handsome man with a rifle it looked like had saved her. He was insistent on taking her to the hospital but regardless of the blood she refused. She did not have the money to pay for hospital bills. He pushed to let him at least patch her up and she gave in. She went to his place not far thankfully and let him patch her up. He was kind and so where those he lived with. He used some herbs and stuff that stung but it would help with the inflammation apparently. But the moment she was all patched up she was keen on leaving not wanting to impose. But she gave him her number since he wanted to be sure she was okay the next day.
Kinsly got home and was in a foul mood her mother was passed out on the couch so she went off to her father about what she did. The man just grunted at her and gave her a twenty like that would fix it. God he could be so infuriating at times. She could not believe she was going to go to highschool with a giant bandage on her shoulder. She soon also learned she had scuffed up her new boots in the mess of it all so they did not look all brand new like they were. This was the worst day ever.
She woke up the next morning taking a peek at her wounds only to note they were almost healed and did not look like a fresh wound. This brought confusion upon her but she decided now was not the time. She texted the guy she was fine not needing him to blow up her phone at school. She had to get ready for school. She found her mother still on the couch right where she left her. She was not helping her this time she was to mad at the woman right now. High school was better than middle school she found herself able to actually make some friends in the first few weeks of school. She finally confronted her mother it was a nasty fight but the woman promised to pay her back. But Kinsly knew better then that.
It was a month later she learned what she was when she was in her room reading for history class. She felt uncomfortable and went to get water in the kitchen when the hot searing pain started in and then the cracking of her bones. She changed into a wolf right there in front of her surrogate parents almost took out her Frank but she manage to bust out the front door. When she came back the next morning naked her things were on the porch and a note that if she came back they would call the cops. So Kinsly took to living on the streets. She still managed to go to school everyday but stayed in abandoned houses and apartments at night.
When she met Kallie someone like her it was the best thing for her someone to bond over what she was and to help. The pair clicked so well she could handle Kinsly blunt and cynical side better than any friend she had made in the past. When she learned of her living situation she really had no choice Kallie had her moving in with her. She was soon accepted by the family and pack. For the first time in her life she had a family a real one. One that cared. It was so surreal and she enjoyed it they helped her master the change and showed her all she could so. She would do anything for the pack and is not afraid of what it out there. Kallie was her best friend almost like a sister except for that one drunken night they made out. But they are just friends.
She finished school and got a decent job for once earning money of her own which was refreshing. It was wonderful and she was truly happy. So when they moved of course she moved with them and even got a job working at Kallie cafe. But knows what she wants to do with her life. She is finally giving in and getting a college degree taking classes on the sly a class here and there. She wants to start a safe recreational center for kids in the Foster system. A place to go and make friends and bond. Help them with homework and keep them in school and off the streets.
