Searching for a home Kallie had been playing with the phone in her hands the whole drive. The nerves might have been getting the best of her. Usually she was great at holding herself together when under pressure. This drive had probably been in the top ten for most anticipated. It would be a make or break for a permanent home. The papers with information on the town had been folded and stuffed into her bag. She’d spent the past week getting things together and trying to memorize some of it. All she had to do was show him. Sucking in her lower lip to chew. Kallie thought about all the times she’d pestered her older brother Rion to look at a place for them to settle. It had been some years since the last attack, maybe it was time. She was so tired of running. So he let Kallie find them a place. She wasn’t sure why, but he gave her the responsibility to find them a permanent home. Rion, following her directions, had been driving to Valhaven. Their first time visiting to scout out and see if it was what Kallie imagined it to be. “Should be the next left then we’re here” she spoke out to him whilst staring down at her phone from the passenger's seat. She’d been using it as a GPS for them while reading up on things she’d saved. Made by Rora of Valhaven ♥

--------------- Hyperion was not even sure he could remember being this far west. But what he did know was that the woman that was sitting next him was keen on finding a place to settle. He had given her all that much to worry about by tasking her with it. Though she also knew that it had to be just right for them to even think about staying. It was hard enough being what they were much less finding a new place. His head turned to look at K for a moment as she looked at the phone that was in front of her.
Part of him wanted to pull the vehicle over and just wait it out on foot. But he did not. As she said that it was next left he was sure to take it. It seemed as if this place was a least quiet. As he continued to drive in the dreaded silence that he figured was driving her slightly insane he looked about. The early morning hours were the easiest to travel in. At least that was how he saw it. They had not brought the other siblings for that reason right there. It was easier to do things when they were not around.
Though his attention moved from left to right as he inspected the street that they were on. It was not really like anything else that he was accustomed to. The streets were actually clean and well kept for the most part. He could see a few people out and about, but not many. It seemed as if this town worked later in the day. That was alright with him. He knew what hours to avoid.

Searching for a home Closing off her GPS she took in the town's sights for the first time. Kallie had fallen in love with the place long before visiting. Being here in person only reinforced that feeling for her. They’d been driving since before the sun had rose to get this over and done with. None of the others had come for the ride, Kallie wasn’t even sure if they knew about the plans yet. She left that for Rion to decide when to break it to them. Maybe until he was certain this was it he didn’t want to give false hope or something. Kallie knew when to take a step back and let her brother handle the rest. More often than not they were a good team together. Kallie was never really a morning person, she’d had a coffee before they left but the grogginess was still there. It also brought her to another reason she’d brought Rion to the heart of uptown. The lack of cafe’s here could be an opportunity for them. “There’s a car park somewhere around here” speaking in a soft voice to mask some of her excitement she glanced back to him with a smile. “So… dare I ask what your thoughts so far are?” The phone still on her lap she checked the time on it before placing it back down. She went through the logistics in her mind. Maybe spend an hour or two, check out the plots for sale which she’d noted down and show him the perks of living in the town. Then he’d decide from there. --------------- Hyperion turned his head to look back at K as she spoke again. His eyes then looked back up to the road as he spotted what it was that she was talking about. There were a few cars there, though it seemed that they were the only people that that were there. He took her advise and turned into the car park. He hated being a car and he was not even sure why. They had never done anything to him at least, perhaps it was that feeling of clausterphobia. Parking the car his head turned to look at her again before answering her question, "Well, nothing has said no so far." He said to her with a small shake of his head as he got out of the car.
Truth was he did not know enough and it was clear to her that that was the case. It was to early to be asking those questions anyway. He should have been the one asking them anyway. But he did not have any important ones yet. He stretched his legs closing the door of the car. Though he did speak to her again, "Can we at least get something to eat before this escipade starts?" Hyperion questioned her with that look of small sadness in his eyes. How much ever he played her, it was only working in his favor.
But what he did know was that he did not want to bring the rest of his family here knowing that it was the right spot for them. He was sure that K would be doing most of the talking anyway. He would be the one that observed everything else. Moving around to the side of the car that she was on he leaned against it looking at her with an arch of his brow waiting on her answer.
