<3. words: #### | Erica hands gripped the bars edge leaning against it. "Another round!" she said a big smile on her lips. The brunette was blowing off steam in the best way possible a fun night out. She had invited all the girls from work that did not have work the next day. She did not need the morning shift showing up hungover at the shop. She promised not to be boss lady while at the bar she wanted to let loose and relax for an evening. She had been a bit high strung the past week and deserved this.
Shot showed up in front of her and she took one and so did a few girls but and extra one remained. Apparently someone had wandered off most of the girl took their shot and headed back to the dance floor. She stayed behind leaning against the bar eyeing the crowd running her hand through her brown curls. She wore a blue top and black ripped jeans and heels on her feet. She had gone all out to look good tonight. The back of the top was open baring much skin. She had a jacket somewhere but she was not to worried about it right now.
She bite down on her lower lip trying to find the missing cohort debating how upset she would be if she just to one for the team and took the shot for her. Tonight felt like the kind of night where she was going to get tipsy and dance on a bar if she kept it up.

Cooper had gotten to know the little town some more over the week. Having moved into one of the houses which no longer seemed to be occupied, he settled himself in with the way he knew best. Hitting up the local nightlife. Being a weekend meant the usually quiet town livened up some more. Cooper had managed to obtain some better looking clothes specifically for this occasion. A plain navy shirt along with some faded black jeans and a black leather jacket over the top.
Admittedly he had some other ulterior motives for going out that night. Though his plan couldn’t really start moving into play until he found himself a witch. So for the evening it was more about the fun and less about the games. Wandering through the crowded bar he felt the buzz of energy around him. Cooper felt more at home in this sort of setting than at home twiddling his thumbs. He liked to be on the move and doing something.
Catching sight of a familiar face his smile widened. Tinkerbell seemed to be out looking for a good time too. Waltzing over to occupy the space beside her at the bar he leaned his elbow on the wood. “You didn’t seem the sort to let your hair down” he commented loudly enough for her little human ears to catch. Knocking back the rest of his bourbon on the rocks he placed the glass down and waved for the barmaid to serve him another. Cooper didn’t need to look no further for a witch when the one right in front of him would be more than enough.

<3. words: #### | Erica felt her skin crawl before she knew he was there so when he spoke a frown formed on her lips. Her one night to blow off steam and a damn vampire had to crash her party. She looked to him turning back to the bar rolling her eyes. She really had been hoping to not see the stupid face of his again. She had worn a scarf for two days because of him to hide her bruises. Once Jess found out she healed her she was more or less saving her magic to burn his ass if she ever saw him again. Also she had to spell some charms for the wicca shop in town. But details that she really did not need to go over. She took the abandon shot from the missing cohort and shot it back shaking her head before looking to him. "Guess you don't know me....sparkle boy." she said knowing full well he did not sparkle but it was fun to poke the bear.
"then again you don't know me at all outside you almost killing someone and me so...cheers to that." she said feeling like she wanted another drink. but her logical side was mulling over how wise that thought really was. She wanted one night off dammit. Hopefully he was not here to rain on her damn parade. She was having fun and really did not need him to muck it all up with his stupid bright eyes. "Now shoo." she said with a wave of her hand wanting nothing to do with him right now. "Go ruin someone else's night." but as soon as she uttered those words she regretted them. He could probably cojole some girl and kill her in the bathroom and Erica did not want that. Damn.
"Why are you here?" she asked waving at the bartender for a drink.

The fact she reacted so much to just his mere presence brought him endless enjoyment. The smirk on his lips as he leaned against the bar was quickly replaced with a scowl. “Sparkle boy?” he scoffed at the notion of being anything remotely close to that awful movie they showed on television. Though he wasn’t offended at her insult. “If you really want to see me sparkle, I can make that happen” he cooed back at her. His smirk widening as his more natural flirty side shined through. Cooper enjoyed flirting. It was either reciprocated or rejected. Either way he enjoyed both sorts of attention.
She was quick to talk about their first encounter, Cooper scanned around them to make sure no other unwanted ears had been paying attention to the pair. “Almost being the key word there, sweetheart.” He shook his head some, not really wanting to talk more about the topic around so many people. Had it been something Erica had done, he might have been singing it from the top of his lungs. Self preservation was a play for the old vampire. He had to chuckle when she told him to shoo. It was adorable that she thought she could tell him what to do. The barmaid took his glass and shortly returned with another. “Maybe I will” he shrugged, the urge to feed hadn’t been strong that evening but there would have been no harm in indulging his appetite.
Knocking back a mouthful of his new drink he paid up and kept the wallet in his hand. “Same reason as you are” he commented, holding another note out to the barmaid. Cooper might have been a monster in the brunettes eyes, but he didn’t agree. “I’ll pay for whatever she’s having.”

<3. words: #### | Erica turned to face him leaning her hip against the bar crossing her arms. She was more than pleased when he scoffed at her nickname she gave him it was nice to ruffle his feathers a bit. Sure enough he turned it around and she let out a low sigh. "Sure, I would really like to see you try." she said a smirk on her lips as she tilted her head to the side. "Come on show everyone here." she said challenging him a small bit. She hardly thought he would follow through with something though it would be interesting to see him try.
She remember how close he had come to snapping her neck she had felt it. It was a feeling one did not easily forget her eyes showed how she felt about that incident. She would not forgive or forget it. He was lucky they were out in public right now to many people watching for her to use any of the good magic. She bite down on her lower lip rolling her eyes turning away from him to look about the club. "Can't you just not feed and not ruin my night." she muttered running a hand through her dark waves of hair. She should be out dancing right now not here attempting to babysit a vampire so he keeps his dang fangs to himself.
She turned quickly when he moved to pay for her drink turning back to the bar. "Is that suppose to make me swoon and forgive you?" she said shaking her head. She eyes her new drink paid for by hit debating if it was a good idea. But she was already a bit buzzed and who knew maybe she would be able to have fun. She picked up her drink taking a sip and giving him a curt nod of her head. "I am here to have a good time and not hurt anyone..." she said blutnly. "Think you can handle that?" she asked not sure she would believe him even if he said he could.

Cooper had honestly not expected to get much out of the brunette. The fact she even turned to face him at all had come as a surprise. She could have just as easily blanked him but she might have suspected he’d up his antics if she did. Cooper sure did love getting his own way. As she met his bluff his lips curved into a wider smirk. He was thinking of sparkling alright, just not in the way she might have been imagining. “Well I’d say it’s more of an intimate affair… but if you say so” he spoke coolly with an exasperated sigh and a roll of his eyes. Hand quirking up he began to unbutton the top two buttons of his shirt. He’d not intended to get naked, more playing around.
He remembered their first meeting very well, but he couldn’t say he cared much for how it went down. She was still alive along with that man he’d fed on. Overall he’d consider it a good evening out. Cooper lacked in the empathy department. He’d put it down to everything he’s seen over the years but really it was never entirely there to begin with. “Who said I was going to eat? Always assuming the worst in me, gosh” he laughed and shook his head. “Now that you mention it though… I am a little peckish” wiggling his eyebrows at her he hoped she’d know he wasn’t entirely serious. Not yet anyway.
Paying for her drink Cooper glanced back to her, a rather amused look crossed his face when she spoke. “Swooning is always a bonus, but no.” He brought his own glass to his lips to sip, her comment didn’t really sit well with him so he needed to put his thoughts out there. “Forgiving me would need to mean there's something I should be sorry about.” Cooper wasn’t sorry, he didn’t see any reason to be sorry. If anything he thought she should be a little thankful he didn’t get all murdery that evening. Again with more assumptions, “I can handle that just fine. Now the question is, how well can you handle your liquor?” He waved a hand at the barmaid to order them both some shots.

<3. words: #### | Erica blatantly rolled her eyes as he started to unbutton his shirt if course he had meant it in a sexual way. If she had not had such a distaste for him she would have chest out what he had to offer but she hated him and his smug face. "Stop before I throw up on you." she said smirking at him. She probably would not but she did not need him walking around with his shirt undone to antagonize her. Not that she cared what he did or looked like without a damn shirt. "Keep you clothes on you don't want to look desperate." she said proud of her retort.
She assumed the worst because he was the worst he was a damn vampire and had crossed paths with more than a few. She had even sent one or two up in flames for trying to eat her. "Your all the same have the smae basic instinct." she said flatly. "See point and case Mister Peckish." she said shifting on her feet. She could tell he was only teasing maybe trying to rile her up and he might be succeeding a bit. "Just keep..." she pointing to his mouth. "To yourself and I will play nice." she said simply. It was not like she ad much of a choice but she could still cause him some upset if he tried something.
The brunette paused slowly turning to look at him again like really look at him. Was he serious? Yep he looked like he meant his words. "Are you kidding me? You bruise my neck and...you think we are all hunky dory up in here?" she said motioning between them. "You should be sorry." she muttered and if he wasn't maybe she should make him sorry. No, no that was some dark thoughts she did not need to go down that road. "I can handle my liquor just fine!." she said as he ordered shots. "But I am a few rounds ahead of you. You should catch up first." she said with a smirk. There was nothing wrong with partaking in a free drink right?

Cooper couldn’t help but have a small laugh over her reaction once she’d caught on to what he was doing. Stopping at the third button he let his hand drop like she’d requested. He made no attempt to button back up. “You know what? You’re so right. Maybe it’s the mommy and daddy issues, but who knows. What’s your excuse?” He quirked an eyebrow back at her, eyeing up the dress she wore so well. He had no parent issues to speak of, nor did he think she had any of those issues of her own. The thing with Cooper was he’d say whatever felt best with the situation he was given.
He resisted rolling his eyes at her yet again. Little miss worldly knowledge over there was starting to be a drag. “Every being has a basic instinct, we all have the instinct to survive. Some more than others.” He shrugged, Cooper wasn’t about to feel guilty for what he did to survive. Sure he sometimes took it a step too far but the point remained. “Can’t blame us for having a little fun along the way. We’re not the only ones.” Cooper smirked back at her. He enjoyed delving into his chaotic side, same as any species. Some embraced their natures. Watching as she indicated for him to keep his fangs to himself he mulled over his response. “Fine. If you play nice, I will too.”
Cooper had been completely honest when he said he’d nothing to be sorry for. “No I don’t think we’re hunky dory, but that doesn’t mean I have to feel sorry about any of it. Everyone made it out alive. I’d say it went well” He gave her a more serious look as he spoke, annoyed that she would even expect some sort of apology from him. Her comment that he should be sorry hit a nerve, “And you should be dead, my dear” he was quick to retort. At her comment he ordered double the shots for himself. Giving her a look he downed his own drinks and paid up. “I’ll be drinking double of whatever you have, just so you can’t use that as an excuse when I wipe the floor with you.” More drinks were ordered in. Cooper was actually looking forward to having a good evening.

<3. words: #### | Erica raised an eyebrow at his words and shook her head. "I don't need an excuse." she said meaning those words. She really had no parental issues. She loved her mother and her father dearly. She probably would be a mess if something happened to them but she did not see that happening anytime soon. "I have a lovely home life thank you." she said a fake smile plastered on her lips. She definitely was not going to give this vampire any information on her. Last thing she needed was him showing up at her house. It was smarter to keep him in the dark.
"Thanks for the speech Vampire Bob but my survival doesn't include hurting others unless they attack me....that's the big difference here." she said already so over this topic. This vampire was never going to be able to justify his action to her. "A what is this fun you have along the way? Hm? Hurting? Killing Maiming?" she asked bluntly before she glanced down knowing this was not the place for this kind of talk. "I did not know nice was in your vocabulary." she said intrigued to see if he really could stick to his word and play nice and keep his fangs in his mouth.
"So your an uncaring asshole...greeaaat." she said shaking her head. He had caused pain and did not give a shit about ti she was definitely not a fan of him. "You lucky I did not kill you." she said replying back to him."How are those crown jewels of yours feeling after all." she said more or less just poking at his pride. She grinned as he downs his drinks and turned to face the bar picking up a shot glas off her own. "Deal!" she said so fine with him drinking double. She knocked back a shot before bouncing on her toes for a second. "Bring it!" she said picking up another one. "Cheers." she said before knocking it back her head bobbing to the music a bit. See keeping him distracted having a drink at this rate no one would get bitten.

Cooper grinned at her obvious attempt to stonewall him. She wasn’t about to give up information so easily. He’d not even asked for her name because he knew attempts would be futile. Tinkerbell would rather see him dead. He really didn’t need her trust to get jobs done, Cooper had other ways for that to happen. “I suppose I’ll just have to take your word for it” he shrugged carelessly. There was no reason to argue with her, she’d only dig her heels in.
Another glance around the room at the mention of what he was. “Bob?” The stupid name was really the only thing he’d zoned in on out of all that. He couldn’t care less if she only attacked in self defense. “Sometimes. Depends on what perspective you have. Good, bad, evil… they’re all relative. Animals have no concept of it. It’s why there’s baboons fucking frogs on the discovery channel.” He had to laugh, make some light of the situation. Cooper never expected the brunette to agree with him on any level. He still liked to say his piece on the matter. Nodding some he drank again. “You might be pleasantly surprised at what I can do if I put my mind to it” His brow arched and the smirk stayed on his face.
“Yep pretty much” he shrugged, no point sugar coating what he was. Cooper knew he was a dick. He often would go out of his way purposely to show this side of his personality. Seldom would he show the more caring side, taking some pride in claiming he had none. No sooner did she start poking at his pride he shook his head. Cooper wasn’t about to pout over it. “It’s endearing to see you have so much concern for them” he grinned placing his now empty glass down and ready to take on more drinks.
The shots started to pour in. Cooper relaxed some more when it was clear the little witch was willing to knock back free drinks. He wasn’t overly concerned about breaking bank. With more than five hundred years under his belt he’s done what he needed to ensure he never went without again. Cooper sat on quite a nice tidy sum of money, but with travelling so much he only really used it for necessities. The occasional materialistic desire was never a huge concern. Helping her clear the bar of their shots he banged his final shot glass down onto the bar. “Whew! Still alright over there, princess?” He cast a curious glance at the brunette, wondering how she was faring with all that alcohol. “C’mon, not a night out without some dancing” he stepped back from the bar to bob his head over towards the dancefloor.

<3. words: #### | Erica just nodded her head she was not going to say any more on the subject. She was fine keeping her personal life just that personal and private. She nodded her head at him when he questioned the name bob. "Yeah that guy from that one tv show that was a thing." she said pointing at his mouth referring to the fact he was a vampire. She probably had the name wrong but she hardly cared right now. She had no name for him so she would make up her own fun ones, she certainly did not want to ask. "Frogs do not....god you are gross." she grunted rolling her eyes so not thankful for the imagery he had just given her.
"Really so you can do more the play nice?" she said raising a brow tempted to ask if he could sit and stay like a good dog. But they were suppose to be playing nice here. That remark was not nice so she did not need to be doing it. "We will see if your a man of your words." she said instead deciding that was the best remark without messing up the faux peace that had going on. She was unimpressed with him when he agreed to being an ass. She highly doubted her was an honest asshole even if he was being honest right now. "I don't care about them just....glad to know you can be taken by surprise." she said shrugging her shoulder like ti was no big deal.
The burn was soon gone because the liquor had coated her throat she was definitely well on her way to being drunk but she had her magic and wit so she was fine. She did not complain in the least when he finished his drinks and coaxed her to the dance floor. She had no intention of dancing with him just keeping her eye on him. She danced her way over to the floor moving her hisp to the music swaying her hips. IT was only when she reached the floor she had a small stumble and stumbled right into her least favorite vampire.
