Cooper weaved through the trees sloppily. It’d been more than a week or two since his last feed. He could no longer remember why he’d even left it so long. Such a stupid decision. God he was starving. The hunger had kicked up a notch. His head was pounding, threatening to split open at any moment. It made thinking a challenge. Stumbling some more he caught himself on a tree.
“Well this fucking sucks” he groaned, blinking hard to gain some of his vision back. This wasn’t how Cooper had planned to spend his first night once arriving at the town. He’d been travelling for a few days now, having picked it out on a map just liked he picked out most things. Someone gave him attitude and he compelled them to point to a place before he sunk his teeth into their throat. It was a flawless tactic to get completely random locations to visit. He just wanted a place to lay low and rest up for a while. Was that too much to ask for?
He groaned again as he persevered forward. The only thing driving him was his hunger. He muttered to himself incoherently as the trees began to resemble fresh bodies. He wasn’t sure if he was even going in the right direction in these damn woods anymore. It wasn’t until one of the trees had come up to him to check on his well being did he actually realize they had been a real person. Before the person could speak again Cooper was on him.
Using what strength he had left he shoved the other body against a tree, pinning them in place. His teeth sunk into their throat. The metallic taste filled his mouth and he let out a small groan to the satisfied feeling as he fed. He didn’t need an awful lot to start feeling himself again. He could let the person go, compelling them to forget this ever happened. Cooper hadn’t quite decided what would be more fun.

<3. words: #### | Erica was walking home from the shop her heel boots clicking on the cement the fringe flailing around her ankles. She may or may not of gotten a new pair shoes. Her eyes focused on her phone looking through her apps closing them out and shooting off one last quick text to her friend letting her know she was on her way home I would text her when she got safely home. It had been a long day for the Brenda and she was ready to get home turn on Netflix eat a nice meal and just pass out on our nice comfy big plush bed.
Her feet came to a halt when she heard a noise coming from the woods. She flicked on the flashlight on her phone and looked see if there was more noise I'm sure enough she heard muffled voice or was it a groan. She walked into the woods knowing whatever it was she was fully capable of defending herself. She was just gonna be super pissed if she had to get her jeans dirty over this.
It did not take her long to find the culprit of the noise and his victim frown forming on her lips. " Ugh gross." she said she can your head at the scene before her. " I suggest you let him go now before I light you on fire." she said turning the light of her phone off pocketing it since she knew she wouldn't need it from this point forward.
The vampire didn't stop she had no qualms with conflicting some pain on the membrane with her magic just so he would let the human go. She held her hand up letting the flicker of flames light around it just show him that she meant business. There is no need to play coy here. " you've got to the count of three. One. Two.....Three.."she said loudly.

Cooper was quick to get to work on feeding. He’d struggled to focus on anything else but that. The person barely had chance to react. Maybe it was a state of shock or the pain that prevented them from screaming. Whatever it was, Cooper had been relieved. He didn’t want his meal ruining the moment. From the first mouthful of blood he immediately felt more himself. His senses sharpened and the clouded thoughts became easier to filter through.
Pulling back he kept the male pinned to the tree. It hadn’t been hard, draining most of his blood kept him limp against Cooper's arm. He tilted his head to look for the source of the voice which had very rudely interrupted his feed. The blood dripped from his chin, he’d been too starved to feed cleanly. “Well now, what do we have here?” he cooed at the petite brunette standing not far from him. He stared her down with an annoyed look when the threat of fire cropped up.
Cooper stayed in place, glancing back to the man in his arm who’d fallen unconscious. Blood still oozed from the wound on his neck. Cooper liked the blood from his lips, he’d considered finishing the poor fellow off but that thought was quickly dropped when the little witch started to count down like he was some sort of petulant child. He didn’t care for the little puffs of flames coming from her hands. Merely a show to intimidate him. It had been the counting down which bothered him the most. “Fine, Tinkerbell! Have it your way” he snapped, looking back her way with a small scowl.
Pulling his arm away he stayed in place as the body collapsed to the ground beside him. As quickly as that Coopers mood lightened, he wasn’t one to stay annoyed for long. “But you know, you might need my help to save him. He’s looking rather pale” his teeth shone as he smiled. The man had still been alive, but barely. Some of Cooper’s blood could have fixed that little problem, though he wasn’t sure what sort of charitable mood he was in. She might need to say please.

She tried not to let her anger get the best of her as he pulled back from the Mail clearly stating his dominance over the human. She had no intention of backing down and had no qualms with burning another vampire alive. she was prepared for whatever retort he had and was not at all concerned that he could hurt her.
" I'm your worst nightmare now hurry up and clean up this mess before I have to clean it up for you trust me you don't want me to clean it up for you." she said bluntly her sass seeping out so much for keeping her cool. Vampires just pissed her off to no end. They really were the worst of all of the supernaturals parasites in her own personal opinion.
The Burnett was more than pleased when he let go of the human being even in there we can state she's more than capable with her magic of healing them she just needed this vampire to get out of the damn way. "Nooo you can go now... I can save him on my own I don't need your blood." she said finally stepping forward her hand still live with flame she slowly close it to fist putting out the flame. she do not need his help nor did she want it in the very least. " I don't need any potential yous running around." she said honestly a fake smile grazing her lips.

Cooper tilted his head at her, a faint smile as she sent him yet another threat. Had he been interested in creating another baby vampire he might have just chosen this one. She had that attitude he often liked, and being seemingly unafraid of his presence only made him want to try harder to change that. Ignoring her words to clean up the mess he’d created he used his speed to suddenly appear directly in front of her. His face inches away from her face he kept his head tilted and the smile still set in place “I’m not sure if anyone’s told you, but witches blood is far more delicious.” His eyes redden for the briefest of seconds but he keeps himself in control of the urges. Thankfully he’d only just fed, had she found him first it might have been an entirely different story. Cooper just liked to play. It was all this was for him. He’d had his fill, now it was time to have a little fun.
Letting her step around him without moving himself, he simply watched her go to man on the ground. “Oh really? Is Tinkerbell going to conjure up more blood for him?” he muttered sarcastically, loud enough for the brunette to hear him. His thumb came up to wipe away some of the blood from his mouth, placing it between his lips he silently assessed her. He could have just as easily have left. Leave this mess for the mouthy one to clean up for him. Part of him really just wanted to see how this would end. When she broke the silence he scoffed. “I’d have to kill him while my blood's in his system for that to happen” he rolled his eyes, like he’d want to ever do that for this fool. Cooper couldn’t imagine anything worse than being tied down to someone he had no intention of being around for more than a snack.

<3. words: #### | Erica was not amused in the least by this vampire even as he appeared before her. She did not backdown in the least looking up at him. "Bite me and you not only loose your head I will break every bone in your body first." she said issuing another threat. She had no problem with fulfilling that threat either. "It would be in your best interest to keep your fangs to you self." she said standing her ground.
She moved to the barely conscious man on the ground eyeing his wound trying to pick out the right spell. "Tinkerbell....really." she said snapping her head over her should giving him a scowl. "You can't do better then that?" she asked looking back to the man. She put her hand over his wound and started to mutter a spell closing her eyes. But the vampire just could not shut up and find someone else to bug. "Need a muzzle for you." she muttered standing up blood on her hand. "Fine...heal him...." she said placing her clean hand on her hip. "I dare you." she said fine if he did help or he bolts either way she would save this man life.

“Cute, have you been practicing just for me?” he mused back at her, not batting an eye to the threat. Every other word out of her mouth had been an idle threat so far. Cooper of course had to question just how serious she was. “As much as I would enjoy quieting you down, I’m not hungry. Is it hard to believe some of us only feed when we need to?” He raised a brow when he questioned the petite lady. She seemed rather hellbent on imagining him to be nothing more than a monster. Cooper saw it more as a vast grey area.
Hearing her snap at him over the nickname brought some satisfaction. “Not the worst thing I could have called you, sweetie” The sarcasm flowed naturally as Cooper watched her deal with the other body. The talk of muzzles had his smile widen. Once she asked for help he put on the biggest pout as he wandered towards them. “What? No please?” Stopping beside them both he made no attempts to get to work with assisting. Instead he stared back at the witch with a curious look. “Daring me is rather pointless, I don’t really have any incentive to help.”

<3. words: #### | Erica rolled her eyes at him he really was full of it wasn't he. "Don't flatter yourself beast." she said not having the patience for this guy right now. She really did not get along well with vampires. They were a thorn in everyone side living off of other people and attacking the helpless. "Please you almost bled this guy dry if I had come along would you have stopped." she said motioning to the poor soul he attacked. She doubted it.
"I am not your sweetie." she said groaning he was all over the place calling her cute and sweetie. This vampire was not conducive to her having a relaxing night. She really wanted to flick him off right now and be done with him. It was like he got a sick pleasure from pushing her buttons. "Help or leave." she said with a sigh as he got closer. Her eyes focusing on him watching him in case he tried anything funny but nope he was not doing a damn thing. "Oh then let me give you one" she said a smirk on her lips "Oh fiery Sun, Burn away the unuseful, the hurtful, the bane, In Your glorious power...: she said starting to chant a spell at him.

He let out a small laugh to her retort. “Hmm beast, I do like that. I certainly can be that in more ways than one. Would that make you a Belle?” He wiggled his eyebrows some as he teased her more. Cooper loved to flirt, it was a second favorite sport. Right up there with eating mouthy little witches who had it coming. He exaggerated an eyeroll when she talked about what he could have done. “I was still deciding!” He exclaimed with a small wave of his arms. “If I did I’d have buried him somewhere out of the way. Would have been a problem solved.” Cooper didn’t really like that she assumed he always did this, “I’ve not eaten for some time… I got a tad carried away. The damn trees started looking like food.” He wasn’t sure why he was admitting this to her, but he did so with the biggest scowl.
“It seems you’re not anyone’s sweetie” he gave her a smirk. Cooper was really enjoying getting on her nerves. He could only hope this would keep his gorgeous face fresh in her mind. He had a way of staying on people’s minds. “That’s not the magical word I’m looking for” he pressed once more at her demands. The old vampire was often too stubborn for his own good. No sooner did the words of some kind of spell begin to leave her mouth he used his speed to shoot down beside her, hand pressing against her mouth tightly and a deeper scowl on his face. “A please would have sufficed” he mumbled, eyes reddening as he brought his free wrist to his mouth to bite into and feed to the man beside them.

<3. words: #### | Erica took a deep breath not even wanting to recognize that her mind went to a dirty place at his words. "A vampire who knows his Disney...cute." she said in reply. She was not even going to comment on being Belle. She hardly saw herself a Belle she did not want to be seen as a victim. But she had the feeling arguing semantics with this vampire would not go so well. He seemed at bit special in her own personal opinion. "The fact you were deciding says all I need to know here." she said flatly hardly impressed by him. Though the fact he had not fed recently did have her interest. "Starving yourself how noble." she said playing it off though she was curious if it had been a conscious decision she wanted to ask but had a feeling she would not like the answer.
"I am sweetie to those who are close to me and you are not." she said frankly to him. He certainly had a thing for pushing the right buttons to frustrate her. She would give him a damn magical word in the for of a spell. But before she could finish it his hand was on her mouth and he was extremely close to her. A small squeal escaped her before she breathed in taking in his scent. She almost felt herself get a bit dizzy. She watched his eyes change from there brilliant blue to red and feed the human his blood. she wanted his damn hand off of her and some damn space from him.
So she bite down hard on the hand covering her mouth and then proceeded to bring her knee up and hit him right where the goods where. She could defend herself without spells and magic.

Cooper was able to get a whole lot of enjoyment out of this sort of torment. He already knew his words had some sort of affect on her. She didn’t need to outright say anything for him to get that sort of vibe from her. “Cute is one word for it” he smiled softly. Out of all the people who could have happened upon him, he’s starting to enjoy that it was this brunette. She was very much like someone he once knew. “Please, like you’re much better.” He scoffed back at her. “Witches sure to enjoy stirring the pot, so to speak. Your kind isn’t much better at all.” Cooper gave her a more unimpressed look. Many points throughout history had they fucked up. At least with Cooper he didn’t try to deny his past, more rather he embraced it. “There’s nothing noble about starving.” He shook his head at her comment. While it had been something he’d chosen to do, he never intended to go that long without feeding.
“I’m sure you’re a real peach” he muttered to himself, still unimpressed with her threats. He couldn’t imagine being on her good side was much better. He’d seen this sort before. Either you were part of the mess or you’re cleaning up after them. Something he knew all too well. When she began to chant he made quick work to shut her up and get the other human enough of his blood to make a recovery. Her small squeal when he covered her mouth stirred something inside of him, possibly a predatory reaction. He loved it when they screamed. Taking in a deeper breath he gave her a look which told her she should be shutting up anytime soon. At this proximity he could smell everything. The blood still covering him from the other human being, the scent of her own alluring blood pumping through her veins. All extremely tempting.
Biting into his hand caused him to flinch but not immediately pull back. He might have been rich if he had a penny for every time someone's broken the skin when biting him. Cooper also had accelerated healing so it wasn’t a massive cause for concern for him if she did bite. He so loved biting. The small gasp that escaped his lips with the movement that followed brought him to his knees. Kicking the crown jewels was by far the most uncoolest thing she could have done. That was enough to set off his bad mood.
In one fluid motion he leaned forward to grab her leg and yank it to knock her to the ground. He was on her, hand around her neck and keeping a good enough grip on her jaw to keep the little witch from uttering more spells. He was so close to snapping her neck and being done with it. Instead he stayed still, staring back at her with a hardened look. “When you bit me, did you drink any?” he questioned her, noticing her lips were reddened with his own blood. Being far too close for comfort now he let her go and slowly moved away from her. The urge to have turned her was something which unsettled him. For years he’d been content with being alone. What changed?

<3. words: #### | Erica felt like telling him to go away would just make him want to stay and pester her more. She was slowly starting to realize she was in a lose, loose situation her. She scoffed at him not having meant the cute comment as a compliment to help build his ego. She could tell her certainly had one the way he swung it around. So smug someone needed to take him down a few notches of entirely would be great. She did not mean it that way but she did think she was better then a vampire. She did not go around killing and sucking the life out of people to survive. "I stir no pots." she said firmly. She did not think she should be blamed for other actions she was her own persons after all.
"I'm peachy keen." she said in reply a smile on her lips but it was only a joke. She was not going to play nice with this vampire and nothing was going to change that. Then he was so close to her and it made her skin crawl. The drying blood on him was nauseating to her. Not to mention the look in his eyes when she had squealed she could see it the look of temptation for his next meal. This was one situation she wanted to nope the fuck out of as soon as possible.
The metallic taste of blood graced her lips when she bite down but she was more concerned about getting away from him. So when he fell to the ground from her kneeing him in the groin she could not help but smirk confidently. She probably should not have taken that moment of pride. A moment later a grunt escaped her as he grabbed her leg causing her to fall to the dirt ground. Before she could utter a word her was on her. Her neck being forced in an all to uncomfortable direction and her mouth unable to open. She tried to squirm to see if she could move to get free but he was in control right now.
She made no attempt to answer his question her own mind racing trying to think a way out of this. Then he was off and and she was quickly shoved herself up into a sitting position and scrambling back from him her hand going to her neck. Her finger trying to discern if he had bruised her. "Your a monster." she said spewing venom at him her eyes showing her distaste for him. He could have bite her or killed her and she could feel it he almost had she was going to be sore. "Foul loathsome...." she stopped herself from going on knowing she was not helping the situation in the least. She moved to slowly get up her chocolate gaze watching him carefully as she did before checking out the male to see if he was awake and could move. She wanted to get as far away from this vampire as possible.

Cooper knew the brunette wouldn’t give any compliments so easily. He could see she intended to insult him no matter what he said or done. So, being as he was he planned to not give her the satisfaction. He was great at twisting up a conversation to suit him, it was much easier that way. It usually ended in blood if Cooper seriously got angry. Not something he thought was necessary at this moment in time. Even if the little witch had tried to cast a spell on him.
The girl hadn’t expected him to retaliate so fast. Maybe had he been a few hundred years younger he wouldn’t have thought to. The searing pain in his groin had still been there, a reminder for him that she’d hurt him. More his pride for letting her get that kick in, but still hurt regardless. It would have been so quick to turn her there and then. The temptation for Cooper had been all too real. Erica very much reminded him of his sire, Sofia. Her hotheaded attitude and reckless behaviour very much resonated with the vampire and memories of his past. At one point Sofia had meant the world to him, after her death he’d vowed not to let himself get that close to anyone again.
While he was slow to back off her, the brunette had been quick to scramble away and check her throat. He rolled his eyes at her and the incoming insults. “Yeah, yeah. Stick it on a christmas card for me” he muttered, also going to check in on the male. His neck had completely healed with the help of vampire blood. Completely ignoring the witch beside him he took hold of the male's shirt to pull him up into a seated position. The man had started to gain consciousness, but before he could panic Cooper had already locked onto his dilated pupils with a hypnotic gaze.
“Go home and clean yourself up, you won’t remember anything about the attack.”
With that he completely let the man go. The compulsion stopping, Cooper stood himself up and brushed off the dirt. He cared not for the witch or what she planned to do. Hands finding his pockets he began to stroll away, “See you around, Tinkerbell.” As soon as the words had left his mouth he was off, blurring out of view he headed off into the night to go entertain himself in town. He had a feeling this wouldn’t be the last time he’d encounter that pretty face.
